Steeple coaching to support young athletes

Back in June we were lucky to have Coach Steve Purser travel to Jersey to deliver a steeplechase workshop.

Bradley Andrews-Callec took full advantage of Steve’s expertise alongside Coaches Chris Dorey and Gary Broster. They particularly worked on Bradley’s form and confidence over the water jump.

Bradley tested his new skill out very successfully at the English Schools, getting 4th place and at National Championships getting 3rd place for U20 men.

Thanks to Jersey Sport for support via their Workforce grant that allows JSAC coaches and athletes to benefit from off-island expertise.
