On Sunday 1st October, JSAC had a number of relay teams and members participating in the Jersey Standard Chartered Marathon. It was a record-breaking year with a new marathon course record set with an incredible time of 02:16:03 by Nathan Kioko.
We are delighted that some of our members even collected some silverware for the trophy cabinet. Well done to all those who participated, volunteered, and showed support along the course, for this event. Listed below are some of our members who came away with trophies. Everyone who participated should be immensely proud of themselves.
Antoinette Kyriacou – First Female Marathon Runner
Paul Bish – First 60+ Male Marathon Runner
George Rice and Sam Maher – First Male Relay Team of 2
‘It runs in the family’ – Jon Coote and Chantelle Coote – First Mixed Relay Team of 2
