Masters Success for JSAC Athletes

A dedicated bunch of our Masters athletes are attending the 20th European Masters Athletics Championships in Aarhus, Denmark.

Andrea Banks has won the bronze medal in the 10,00m in the W40 age group, in a time of 39:56.85 also 6th in the half in 1hr 26:57.

Tony Banks was 12th in the M40 10,000m in 35:34.21 and 11th in the half in 1hr 18:21.

Carole Derrien achieved a silver medal in the W17 weight throw, with a best effort of 8.56m, 6th in the w75 discus and 4th in the hammer.

Pat Stanley also competed in the W70 200m  and 400m, placed 7th in 2:02.03
