JSAC Ogier Cross-Country – Event 4 – Report and Results

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the fourth race in the JSAC Ogier Cross-Country Series in the beautiful surroundings of Pont Marquet Country Park on 1 March 2025. Once again, the weather was kind, with dry conditions, and there was some excellent racing in all age groups. A particular mention to Matt who swapped his megaphone for running shoes to run the first race of the day!

Thanks, as ever, to all those who kindly marshalled – Helen, Max, Charlotte, Dan, Amanda, Emma, Katherine, Dominic and others. Thanks also to Linda, Aoife, Vaughan, Tilly and George who ran check-in so efficiently, Tim as chief marshal, Gary the timekeeper, Katrina for the start lists and results, Ethan for lead running the junior races and Florence, Rory and Bobbi for tail running and ensuring all our young athletes got round the course safely.

Next up is Kempt Tower on 29 March. This will be the fifth and final race in the series – once we have the results of that race we will then arrange a date for the relays and awards. We look forward to seeing you there.
