Support for Athletes

Financial Support

Funding your athletics career!

While athletics is a relatively cheap sport, the Club are keen for cost not to be a barrier to membership or competition. The Club have an assistance fund to help local athletes to cover joining and participation costs. If you are a talented athlete targeting high level competitions in the UK or Europe, flight and accommodation costs can soon mount up. There are a number of granting bodies and companies on the island that athletes can ask for financial support. This page aims to provide this information for our members.
